Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is an American singer and actress. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her birthplace was in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan with an Polish mother and a father who is German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment at an early stage of her life. She went to her audition in 1992, and was then offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mother signed her up at an agency prior to when she turned 13; she later appeared on television commercials and newspaper ads. In addition to taking private lessons, she began her acting career in the year 2000. Bell was credited with a minor part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama club. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the role of the lead Dorothy character. Following graduation, Bell moved into New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in which she learned about musical theatre. In 2001, Bell went to university and decided to portray the character of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her first credit debut with the role of Becky Pootie Tang. But, her scene was cut out of the movie and her appearance was only on the screen credits. Bell was in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
