Jana Kramer became famous on TV, in which she portrayed Alex in the One Tree Hill series' finale for the last three seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music which helped her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. When she finished the decade the year, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to the country genre, and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. But, she began her acting career as young teenager in 2002's independent horror film Dead/Undead. After a few guest appearances on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport on NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer then appeared in the role of Portia ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. Kramer joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she stayed up until the finale in 2012, part way into. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career with One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract with Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I Won't Go Down" during an episode. The song was later featured on Jana Kramer, her debut album that debuted in the year 2012. The song reached into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She continued to act in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer launched her second studio album, Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. Thanks to her Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and the duet she did together with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on the country albums chart as well as number ten on the Billboard 200. After a two-month stint on the 23rd Dancing with the Stars season the singer was ranked 4th. The singer also had a hit for adult contemporary by singing the track Feels Like Christmas, featuring Straight No Chaser.
